Absolutely awesome opportunity to support a local and native habitat restoration organization. You can donate directly, volunteer, or you can purchase native plants and trees. Your help in any way goes directly to rehabilitation projects around Watsonville. Do yourself a favor and contact them to schedule a visit and do some plant shopping! Even if you only get one plant, you are helping a mighty cause. Encourage your children and other family and friends to become involved in understanding the value of the little native habitat we have left.

Living in a highly dense community yet surrounded by working fields gives the impression that we have a lot of green space, but we don't. Thankfully, the WWWatch is there to help us appreciate and gain deeper connection to the wetlands that they help protect as well. We can't take this wonderful dream team for granted, thank you for caring and sharing !

Wonderful nonprofit group responsible for saving important wetlands and the sloughs in Watsonville. They have a small center based at Pajaro High School and do a lot of education with the schools. They have tours of the sloughs and monthly programs and good docent trainings.

This project is restoring our bird habitat that has been neglected and used for farm waste dump. The grasses now protect the Marine life and birds; even eagles are now returning. Bike and walking paths provide recreation and teach appreciation to all. Volunteers help educate the school children and their families.

The Watsonville Wetlands are enjoyable for birding, hiking, nature walks, education and the community.
