☺ A wonderful place in the middle of the beautiful, peaceful countryside in south Toscana. We where warmly welcomed and upgraded to a big house with our own pool! Thank you very much, we would like to come back! We recommend this
special place, its easy to visit the small towns nearby and lovely to relax i the well equipped appartment,

☺Die Lage des Appartements war phantastisch inmitten der Felder und Hügel der Toskana. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war außergewöhnlich und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Der Vermieter und seine Tochter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
☹Die Betten waren für unseren Geschmack viel zu hart.
Es fehlten Haken für Handtücher im Bad

☺En vakker og rolig oase ved Lajatico, hjelpsom betjening, fint utgangspunkt for turer i området. Perfekt for grupper som ønsker rolige dager.
☺Il borgo si trova in uno spazio isolato alla fine di una strada sterrata. Ho apprezzato la pace, la tranquillità, la piscina, un alloggio spazioso e super attrezzato, la possibilità di mangiare all'esterno. Il riposo perfetto dopo le nostre giornate di visite turistiche

☺La villa est dans un endroit super calme pour une semaine de repos.
Les pièces sont très spacieuses et parfaitement climatisées.
La piscine est très agréable et bien disposée avec toutes les chaises et transats.
☹La place autour de la villa permettrait de placer une piste de pétanque.
Un grill à gaz ou une plancha serait beaucoup plus pratique que la cheminée à charbon.

☺ Idyllic location in the Tuscan hills, spacious appartment for 4, and has all amenities for a family stay.
☹ Nothing really, but the remoteness might be a downside for people wanting to visit several large Tuscan cities. Several nice towns within 30 minutes drive though.

We recently spent five nights at Borgo del Silencio. While the location is charming and the natural surroundings are peaceful, our experience was unfortunately marred by several issues that need improvement.
Cleanliness was our biggest concern. The rooms had spiders throughout, and one of the apartments even had a wood scorpion. This made us feel quite uncomfortable during the stay. Cleaning clearly wasn’t thorough, and it gave the impression that upkeep is not a priority.
Basic necessities were also missing: no trash bags were provided, and the coffee machine only worked with specific pods sold on the property—there was no standard coffee option available. We also weren’t given any pool towels, which was inconvenient given the amenities advertised.
The buildings themselves are showing signs of serious wear. Cracked walls and aging interiors suggest that proper renovation hasn’t been done in a long time.
Borgo del Silencio could be a truly special place if these issues were addressed. For now, though, the lack of attention to detail made our stay less enjoyable than it could have been.
I stayed at Borgo del Silencio for five days. While the location itself is undeniably beautiful and peaceful, the overall experience was disappointing due to several issues that need attention.
First and foremost, cleanliness was a major concern. The rooms were not properly cleaned, and we encountered numerous spiders throughout the stay. Shockingly, we even found a wood scorpion in one of the apartments, which was very unsettling. It’s clear that better pest control and more thorough cleaning are urgently needed.
Basic amenities were also lacking. There were no trash bags provided, and the coffee machine available only worked with specific pods they were selling on-site—there was no regular coffee maker. Additionally, no pool towels were supplied, which made using the pool less convenient.
The condition of the buildings was another issue. Many walls in the houses were cracked, clearly showing signs of neglect and a lack of proper renovation over time.
Overall, the setting has great potential, but the property falls short in terms of cleanliness, amenities, and maintenance. With some serious improvements, it could be a wonderful place to stay—but as it stands, I would not recommend it.
☺Świetne ciche miejsce. W szczerym polu z pięknymi widokami. Apartament czysty i zadbany. Sympatyczna obsługa.
☹Bardzo słabo wyposażona kuchnia. Jak na Włochy to tylko Expres na kapsułki które można kupić u właściciela (brak kawiarki, expresy przelewowego itp). Brak dodatkowych worków na śmieci, tabletek do zmywarki. Basen niby czyszczony ale dopiero ostatniego dnia z tygodnia pobytu wyczyszczone tak naprawę.
