Odd that a business in a fairly popular shopping area of Lincoln Park has a door you can only buzz to be let in. When I stopped in to shop and was greeted with hostility by the owner and his henchman. Both were rude and unfriendly. I’d recommend shopping somewhere else.

Employee and owner were very nice, knowledgeable, and respectful. I got my rug cleaned and they fixed a part that was coming loose on the side. Colors of the rug look much better now. I would definitely come back when I need another cleaning or repair.

As soon as you walk into Beautiful Rugs, you can tell you're getting a first-class experience with incredible quality pieces. Moe is so unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable and takes his time to find exactly what you're looking for. The only problem is he will give you so many stunning options to choose from that it's so hard to make a decision which one you'll go with! Our decision got so difficult we ended up getting two absolutely stunning Persian rugs! We purchased a large room rug and brought another rug for cleaning. The purchasing experience was a delightful adventure. Moe took us on a tour of his extensive collection of fine rugs, patiently educating us along the way. We are very happy with our purchase. Later, I brought in a rug for cleaning. The rug had suffered damage due to what we learned was inadequate cleaning several years ago. Moe explained the cause of the problem and directed repair so that the rug is as good as new. Moe at Beautiful Rugs has been selling rugs to us for several years. We view them on the website, contact Moe with what we like, he packs them up then travels to our home in Minneapolis MN. This is the perfect way to see them right where they will be, true colors and size. Our children have been here to view and have purchased several. Moe knows the history of his rugs, the meaning of the design, where and who they are made and the material. We have several with signatures of the creator and/or the weavers which he pronouces and includes in the certificate. We have purchased one that he had in his home for many years. All of the rugs are very high quality, and beautiful unique designs. Moe provides outstanding pricing and service compared to others we have purchased from.
