I've had the opportunity to close a couple deals with Garrett as he was discovered/recommended by one of my buyers just recently! It has been quite refreshing as, not only does he know his stuff but truly cares about his clients and works TIRELESSLY to ensure they receive the best deal AND the best service. It's been a while since I've had a lender attend my buyers' closings. What a difference it makes to have the 'numbers' guy there to answer any last minute questions and/or knock down any last minute barriers. I highly recommend Garrett if you're looking for a great deal and great service!

Look I’m not saying you have to choose Garrett for your loan but if you want to make everything about buying a home easier, safer, and just overall better you should. When I tell you I couldn’t possibly be happier with my choice to use Mr. Gunderson I truly mean it. He helped my wife and I through the entire process all the way from not knowing if we could even afford a house to saving us thousands on the loan. He went as far as even double checking documents the morning of the final signing where he found a error that would have costed us a lot towards tax season and had them fix it which was even apart of his duties at that point. He was always available to answer my calls or questions and even helped with anything I needed handled during the process because I work nights and sleep during the day. If I could give his company a 6 star I would. This is a perfect example of why choosing small and local businesses are far superior to the big mega corporations, you’re just a number to them, but with Garrett you can tell he care and wants to help.

Garrett was phenomenal to work with. He made the loan process painless and smooth. Being new to the loan process, my wife and I appreciated how he took the time to explain the whole process meticulous and guided us on what to watch out for when shopping around. He was always friendly and courteous. We did end up shopping around quite a bit but at every stage Garrett's rate beat the competition by a healthy margin. In addition, I was amazed at how quickly he was able to secure the approvals needed to get us on track for the closing, in large part due to how knowledgeable he is with the process. Lastly, I was pleasantly surprised by how responsive he was throughout, sometimes even late into the evenings. Overall, I highly recommend Garrett.

GARRETT IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!! My older brother referred me to Garrett to help me buy my first home and I cannot stop ranting and raving about my experience with him. Garrett goes above and beyond and offers a certain level of service that you won't find at the usual brick-and-mortar lender shops. First, Garrett sent me this quick informational video to explain home buying terminology to a novice like myself about general terms like "option fee", "earnest money", "homestead exemptions", etc. which was actually super helpful! Then, he helped me calculate the home price range that I should be shopping for based on my current financial situation factoring in all details including utilities, homeowner's insurance, etc. I also really appreciated the fact that Garrett took the time to setup a separate meeting with me to educate me about the individual fees that gets lumped into the closing costs so when it finally came down to closing day, I truly felt comfortable signing my autograph on those endless documents. I made an offer on 4-5 difference homes and each time Garrett would put together a prequalification letter to pair with my offer letter to strengthen mine over the other competing bids. Additionally, Garrett will personally call the listing agent to verbally assure that we can close as fast or as slow as needed with all the confidence in the world that my loan would get approved no problem, which actually helped me secure the home that I bought! Last, but certainly not least, I joked several times throughout the process about how freakishly fast Garrett's response time is. I called him "Jimmy John" and even compared him to one of those Alexa/Google smart hubs because his response time (I kid you not) is less than 5 minutes and that makes a difference with how quickly these houses would hit the market and then would have an offer deadline within 48 hours. Overall, his services absolutely blew my mind! I look forward to working with him again whenever I buy my next home. 10/10 recommend to anyone and everyone who is looking to buy a home!
