Fantastic course on framing, couldn’t believe there was so much to it, but was soon addicted and ordered some of the equipment to do it myself. Such a supportive and helpful team. The group was small and we all got personal support. Highly recommend it. The framed picture was for my fussy dad and he was so impressed. It’s on his wall already.

A great course, the tutor Linette was lovely, very knowledgeable and patient. I have done various different workshops in the past but this one tops them all! Highly recommended.

Completed the two day beginners course in Manchester (Heald Green), under the auspices of Nick. First rate tuition in pleasant venue in a small helpful group. Feel completely confident in moving forward in framing on a hobby level having taken the course, and can highly recommend!

The framing course was brilliant! Linnette was so knowledgeable and skilled, accommodating, patient, it was great. I enjoyed so much!

The course was as described, first day was a complete framing job, second day was different mount styles. I had done some simple single mounts (I’d used masking tape, sorry) before the course so it was not all entirely new. However, what I did and learnt on the course exceeded my expectations. Getting ‘hands on’ with tools and techniques I learnt much more than I would have from books or videos. Linnette has a lot of experience as an artist and framer. She also has a lot of experience in teaching and she is good at it, demonstrating clearly and, really importantly, helping us students understand where and how we went wrong with something and that’s where we learn more than getting things right first time. A very enjoyable and worthwhile course.

Course was really helpful and I came away understanding the basic techniques and with a really nice frame. Nick was a very knowledgeable, patient tutor and the course has spurred me on to frame more of my own work and learn more techniques.

The course was great, with everything you need provided. Nick, our tutor, was super clear and concise in his teaching and a nice small group meant there was a lot of time to interact with Nick and lean more. I went from zero frame-making experience to making a decent effort in just a day. I definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about getting into framing, either for fun or as a a starter with the intention into making it a job.

Fantastic introductory course to picture framing. Linette the course tutor was fantastic. She took us through every stage step by step. She made the day very interesting and fun to learn. Can't wait to get framing.

Can I say how much I enjoyed the course? Linette the was an excellent tutor, making straightforward what might otherwise have been tricky procedures. I've been a self-taught framer for some years, doing my own work, but realise now that things could have been so much easier and that I can use more appropriate materials. I'm looking to develop my framing into something more of a business as I move away from my current job as a painter and decorator. I need something a little less arduous as the body gets older. Will look at further course as time allows, but first I'm very keen to bring a whole pile of prints and paintings out of storage and onto the walls!

I did a one day framing course here. Really good day: Linnette was an excellent teacher, explained and demonstrated the various processes well and helped us when needed. I came away feeling confident that I could do it myself - so the course works. Thoroughly recommended.

I had a great time at the framing course that I attended recently. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and patient. The only downside was the tables at the facilities were a bit wobbly making cutting the frames challenging. Well worth it.

I did the 2-day framing course near Stockport recently and had a great time. The venue was easy to find, warm enough, and the room had plenty of natural light. Group size was spot-on - 1 instructor to seven participants and we all had chance to get to know one another. Nick, our instructor was clearly a very experienced framer and teacher and he used a mixture of demonstration, theory, and made himself available to help each of us when we needed help. The equipment was all in good working order and Nick showed us how each piece worked before we got our hands on it. Day one, we made a frame from scratch and mounted our own picture and I was very pleased with the result. Day two we practised some more complicated mount techniques which all turned out well. The whole weekend has inspired me to stop buying cheap frames for my paintings and my wife's embroidery and to start making my own so I bought one of All About Framing's kits so I could keep practicing. I'm not planning on giving up work to become a full time framer but I will have the satisfaction of planning and displaying our work in bespoke frames from now on. I think the course is an excellent foundation for a hobbyist as well as those who want to take it up professionally. I would thoroughly recommend the two day course Kevin
