Great area, good budget hotel. It's a good hotel with a cosy atmosphere, overlooking a river and a calmer area of Glasgow. We were there for a concert, but when it was cancelled we found a plethora of other things to do instead. The Kelvingrove Museum is only about 20 min by foot, and highly recommended. Back to the hotel, we were placed in a room on the top floor. Our biggest problem was that the room was absolutely cooking, so we didn't get a lot of sleep. Turning down the radiator in the room and opening the windows for hours didn't do anything. One of the beds was also incredibly squeaky. Cleanliness was alright, although it could have been a bit better. In that sense, you get what you pay for. All in all, it was a lot cleaner than comparable hotels at the same price. Shower didn't have hot water but that might have been my mistake (might have missed a switch or something). We slightly regretted not having signed up for breakfast when we smelled the fresh baked bread in the morning.

Me and my partner stayed here for a night for £100! Brilliant value, and thats with late check out and complimentary room items. Very good location for venues. We attended the comedy club, just round the corner! Great food places and pubs around too. We will definitely be back ☺️🙌🏻💫

It has all you need. Nice and neat and warm. Small bathroom with a good sized shower, but no extra space. A nice breakfast is served. Friendly and helpful staff. It‘s safe and sound. I like that it’s not in middle of everything but within a short distance you‘re in the middle of everything. Lovely park nearby, 20 walking minutes to town centre, subway just across the street, expensive parking on street but also 5 minutes walk from safe affordable parking. Plenty food and restaurants nearby.

The location is brilliant, very close to Kelvinbridge Station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. The room was small but it had everything we needed.

Repeat stay with a group of friends whilst attending gigs at Celtic Connections. Warm welcome at Reception, ensured we were all in reasonably close rooms. Good location, close to Kelvin Bridge metro station, large car park at station, or on-street parking (free at weekends). Rooms warm, comfortable beds, quiet location. Only criticism is that the en-suites are rather small. Good cleaning. Lots of decent cafes nearby for breakfast if you want to forego the traditional breakfast available in the hotel. Similarly, lots of options for evening meals.

The Albion Hotel was so quaint, but what really stood out to me was Diane, the receptionist. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful. When I needed a quiet place to sit, do some work, and attend a class virtually, she went out of her way to help me. I am blind, and Diane was so understanding and accommodating. I genuinely hope that the Albion Hotel recognizes what a gem she is.

If you are looking for a small cozy place and also save money, this place is the best. It's very close to all most of the tourist spots and very close to river, you can go for a riverside walk anytime you want. Staff is friendly and welcoming.
